March 22, 2008. We're Married!

Welcome to our blog! We will be using this forum to post pictures of our wedding and a video of the ceremony! Please check back, as we will be updating regularly.

Well, after only 3 weeks of planning, we were able to pull off an incredibly beautiful wedding! It was an almost effortless process where the details just fell right into place. There was a convergence of special occurrences happening that weekend;

Virgo

and EASTER.

We wish we could have had invited alllllllll of the people we had wanted, but unfortunately due to time and financial restraints, we were unable to. We are currently planning another celebration for this summer. Stay tuned for more details!

The ceremony and party were held at this wonderful little restaurant in Haddon Heights, NJ called Elements Cafe. Chef Fred Kellerman was so flexible and accommodating he made the process very easy. He created an absolutely delicious tasting menu. He even baked our amazing wedding cake and his wife decorated it so beautifully!

Everything chef Fred created was so very scrumptious!

Our Menu

First Course
~ Sweet Potato Raviolis
basil cream sauce

~ Caramelized Onion and Smoked Mozzarella Tart
spring greens and balsamic vinaigrette

~ Crispy Eggplant Chips
ranch dressing

~ Crispy Asian Vegetable Dumplings
sweet chili dipping sauce

Second Course
~ Heart of Romaine
black pepper parmesan dressing and roasted garlic crustini

~Baby Green Salad
Clementine, spiced nuts and dry aged provolone

Main Course

~ Asparagus, Tomatoes and Potato Gnocchi
herb butter sauce

~ Eggplant Parmigiana
oven roasted tomatoes and smoked mozzarella cheese

~ Grilled Salmon
ginger sautéed broccoli

~ Herb Roasted Chicken Breast
creamy asiago risotto

~ Herb crusted Tilapia
almond sautéed asparagus

Dessert

Vanilla pound cake with chocolate chips,

chocolate ganache filling and vanilla butter cream.
Decorated with fresh organic flowers

We were married by an ordained minister named Flossie Park. Flossie is the co-owner of the Yoga Center of Medford. She has a calm, sweet and loving nature and delivered a truly moving and inspirational ceremony.

The music was provided by Siddarth Mehta, a long time friend of Daniel's. Sid is an incredibly talented artist & musician. He masterfully played tabla and guitar and was accompanied by music on his laptop. Sid also made the video of our ceremony.
